Dr. Jha teaches Computational Linguistics at JNU's Special Center for Sanskrit Studies. He has done his Masters, M.Phil. and Ph.D. (Machine Translation) in Linguistics from JNU and then another masters in Linguistics (Natural Language Interface) from University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. Therafter he worked as a software engineer and software development specialist in USA specializing in Java, Delphi, ColdFusion languages and and RDBMS techniques. His research interests include Computational grammar and lexicography, Sanskrit linguistics, Natural Language Analysis, Interfaces & generation, Machine Translation, e-learning and web based technologies, RDBMS techniques, internationalization/localization of software.
